Hi! I’m Brit Barry; owner of Brit Barry Design. I was born, raised and still live in Gloucester, a small island community on the east coast of Massachusetts. Growing up in a tight knit community built on small businesses I saw so many people working for themselves and their families by doing what they loved and I knew I wanted to own my own ‘something’. Fast forward through a few wrong career paths, a bachelor’s degree in business and some growing up…I finally figured out what I wanted to ‘be when I grow up’. With the help of lots of amazing friends who asked for my assistance on their weddings, bridal showers, baby showers etc., I started to realize how much I loved helping out with every detail. Whether you have a small gathering or a large scale wedding, I have always had a passion for elevating the look of any event or room. After the wedding & event side of the business started to form and become real, I wanted to dedicate some time to a different avenue. Something I have loved ever since I was a little girl; all things personalized…ornaments, clothing, LLBean backpack, you name it, I love having my initials or name on it. I’m also a sucker for sentimental gifts, so I saved up and bought a laser cutter & engraver, and here we are! I am now engraving, laser cutting and hand-lettering anything I can get my hands on I love creating specials pieces for my customers and their loved ones.
